Carling Cup win at Darlington

A headed goal from Enoch Showunmi take Leeds United into the following round of the Carling Cup, but Darlington made the guest work hard for their win. Showunmi strike after 54 min, react faster than the League Two side's goalkeeper, David Knight, to achieve a cross beginning Robert Snodgrass.



Leeds also strike the bar through Bradley Johnson, but Darlington's youthful forward David Dowson saying an effort ruled out for offside and then experienced Leeds goalkeeper Shane Higgs with a low shot. Darlington approximately equalized in work to rule time when their guard Mark Bower flashed a header scarcely wide from Gary Smith's corner as the League One team held on.
